Kenneth Jack is particularly recognised for his atmospheric interpretations of the Australian landscape. His subjects ranged from remote outback settlements, country towns and historic buildings to rivers, harbours, industrial scenes and coastal environments. His work combines confident draughtsmanship with close observation of architecture, weather, light and the changing character of the Australian landscape.
