Farina SA is an original lithograph trial print by respected Australian artist Kenneth Jack, depicting the remote historic settlement of Farina in outback South Australia.
The composition captures the isolated character of the settlement through its scattered buildings, open landscape, railway structures and broad Australian sky. Jack’s restrained colours and confident draughtsmanship convey the dryness, distance and quiet atmosphere of the South Australian outback.

ABOUT KENNETH JACK
Kenneth Jack was an accomplished Australian painter, watercolourist, draughtsman, printmaker and teacher whose career extended across approximately six decades.
He became particularly recognised for his atmospheric depictions of Australian country towns, historic buildings, mining settlements, rural landscapes and isolated outback communities. He was elected to the Royal Watercolour Society in 1977, awarded an MBE in 1982 and appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 1987.
CONDITION
The lithograph presents in great vintage condition. The image remains clear and visually attractive, while the frame displays light age-related wear consistent with previous display.
