Kenneth Jack AM MBE RWS (Australian, 1924–2006)
Desert Ghost Town, Farina, South Australia, 1982
A signed limited-edition collotype fine-art print by respected Australian artist Kenneth Jack, depicting the remote settlement of Farina in the South Australian outback.
Jack captures the abandoned buildings, open landscape and subdued atmosphere of this historic former railway town. His careful treatment of the architecture and surrounding country reflects his enduring interest in Australia’s old mining settlements, ghost towns and disappearing rural heritage.
A collotype is a high-quality fine-art reproduction process valued for its ability to preserve subtle tones and fine detail. This example is hand-signed “Kenneth Jack” and dated “82” in pencil on the margin. It retains its Franklin Gallery Certificate of Authenticity on the reverse.
