Description
Royal Doulton Flambe Veined Vase – Shape 1618
This elegant Royal Doulton Flambé Veined vase is a fine example of one of England’s most celebrated ceramic traditions.
Produced in Royal Doulton’s famous copper-red Flambé glaze, the vase displays the striking natural veining that gives this decorative range its name. Because the appearance develops during firing through a carefully controlled reduction atmosphere, every Royal Doulton Flambé piece is unique.
No two examples are ever identical.
The softly rounded body and narrow neck create a timeless form that allows the dramatic glaze to become the centrepiece of the design. Rich crimson tones combine with darker veining to create depth, movement and individuality.
Royal Doulton’s Flambé wares remain among the company’s most sought-after decorative ceramics, admired by collectors for both their beauty and the remarkable firing process used to achieve these effects.
Whether displayed as part of a Royal Doulton collection or enjoyed as a standalone decorative object, this vase represents an enduring example of English ceramic craftsmanship.
