Remued Australian Pottery Model 262/6 Vase
This distinctive vintage Australian art pottery vase was produced under the Remued name by Premier Pottery Preston in Melbourne.
The vase has a tall, gently waisted cylindrical body covered with closely spaced horizontal ribbing. Its form is completed by a flared rim, broad circular foot and an unusual applied angular branch handle.
Rich turquoise-green glaze covers most of the body, while the upper section and handle are highlighted with amber-yellow and warm brown tones. Pale blue-green glaze around the rim develops into a feathered drip effect over the deep green interior, creating an especially lively and individual glaze surface.

Model 262 belongs to Remued’s early numbered series and is recorded as a slender, flared and waisted vase produced in two principal sizes. The 262/6 number identifies the smaller version, generally measuring approximately 15–16 cm high.
