An early-series Remued Australian art pottery vase, shape 193 SM, with a rounded body, gently waisted neck and softly waved, flared rim.

Remued was made by Premier Pottery Preston in Melbourne, Victoria. Its handmade forms, flowing glazes and applied Australian flora helped establish a distinctive local pottery tradition during the 1930s. This small vase brings that history into the home through its sculptural gum leaf, gumnuts and richly varied glaze.
An appealing cabinet piece for an Australian pottery collection, or a thoughtful gift for someone who appreciates native botanical design and handmade ceramics.
