Description
This Dümler & Breiden West German ceramic jug vase combines a rounded lower body, tapering neck, flared mouth and curved loop handle.
Glossy mustard/ochre glaze contrasts with a green decorative band around the lower body. Circular relief details and rows of vertical grooves give the vase a distinctive geometric finish, while the interior is dark glazed.
The base bears an impressed factory symbol, 334, 21 and GERMANY, identifying the documented form 334/21. The exact production decade remains unconfirmed.
An appealing addition to a collection of West German pottery or a display of vintage decorative ceramics.
