DESCRIPTION
Royal Worcester Antique Pink and Gold Porcelain Dragon Handle Ewer Vase
This impressive antique Royal Worcester porcelain ewer features a large applied dragon coiling dramatically around the neck and body. The dragonās long, arched tail forms the handle, giving the vase an elaborate sculptural appearance from every angle.
The rounded pink porcelain body is decorated with a repeating scallop or wave-like pattern enriched with gold. Red and gold colouring highlights the dragonās head, claws, fins, spines and curling tail, while the shaped pouring rim completes the unusual Japanese-inspired design.
The underside bears the green crowned circular C51 Royal Worcester factory backstamp, together with a worn secondary printed mark and additional handwritten or impressed production marks.
Large Royal Worcester dragon-handled ewers are distinctive examples of the factoryās ornamental porcelain. This substantial piece combines detailed modelling, applied decoration and gilding in a form that would make a commanding display piece for a collector of Royal Worcester, antique English porcelain or dragon-themed decorative art.

CONDITION
In good antique condition for its age. The porcelain body presents well, with no obvious cracks or major structural damage observed. The applied dragon, including its head, claws, spines and long curling tail handle, appears substantially intact.
There is age-related rubbing and wear to the red and gold decoration, particularly along the dragon, raised details and rim. Minor surface marks, discolouration, manufacturing irregularities and expected shelf wear around the foot rim are also present.
No restoration has been identified, although older professional restoration can sometimes be difficult to detect.
Please examine all photographs carefully, particularly the dragonās delicate raised elements, as the images form an important part of the condition description.
