Information Stated below was kindly given by one of Norma Kett’s Pupils.
Norma Kett was a Secondary school Science teacher during the early 1960s in Melbourne, Victoria
She exhibited paintings at the inaugural Norwood High School Art Exhibition in the early 1960s. Later she moved to the Victorian Alps, Norma lived on the “front road” (Alpine rd) and the corner of Mill Bend
Her house backed directly onto the Ovens River and also served as her art gallery, she converted her lounge room/sitting area into her art space
Personal accounts from people that lived close by, recall also having sculptures in her studio, but this may have been other art work from other artists.
She had a daffodils garden in spring where she would sell the flowers to travellers enticing them into her studio. She also maintained a Gallery near Bright, in Victoria, continuing to exhibit her art, mainly landscapes.
