George Oyston Bio

George was a British artist whose soft-focused watercolours depicted isolated scenes of the rural countryside around the River Thames he painted in both oil and watercolour and specialised in Landscapes, River and Village scenes Born in Cornwall, United Kingdom in 1860 the son of an engineer Oyston spent much of his early life traveling through the English countryside Memories of his travels often served as fodder for his later paintings During his life he exhibited at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour the Royal Society of British Artists and the Berwick Club in Newcastle

Paper does have some discolouring and a slight amount of foxing otherwise in Great condition Frame in Great condition may have some minor Chipping and scratching on frame plus usual wear marks from use and displaying consistent with age see photos as photos play an important role in description of condition – Art work/s will be posted in a picture box made by us from Cardboard and Foam packaging to suit the size of your individual art work/s
