Vintage Stanley England Breast Hand Drill

An original vintage Stanley England manual breast drill in good working condition, featuring its distinctive orange-red drive wheel, wooden crank handle and cast breast plate.

This substantial traditional woodworking tool has been carefully cleaned and mechanically tested. The chuck opens and closes correctly, the drive gears rotate smoothly, and the shaft and bearing areas have been cleaned and lightly lubricated.

The original Stanley England branding is cast into the drive wheel. The tool retains its original paint, metal finish and age-related patina and has not been repainted or over-restored.

Suitable for a vintage tool collection, traditional woodworking, workshop display or practical use.

Condition

Good working vintage condition.

The drill displays wear, marks, plating loss, paint loss, discolouration and areas of historic surface corrosion consistent with its age and previous workshop use.

Loose surface rust and accumulated dirt have been removed, but the tool has deliberately not been heavily restored. The remaining patina is part of its original character.

The wooden handles show age-related wear and finish loss. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
