Bio
Clark Barrett, Educator and artist
Clark Barrett’s art communicates his passion for the life, stories and experiences of the remote landscape around Broken Hill, Australia
Travelling the world was not an unfamiliar experience for Clark Barrett – he was born in Nicaragua to his American parents. So travelling to Australia then Broken Hill to work as teacher, wasn’t a big shock for him. In the 1970’s Clark thought it maybe a short stint of maybe only a few years, but while here his love of art grew, inspired by the colours of the outback.
