Biography: Greg Daly

Greg Daly is a celebrated ceramic artist known for his exceptional work in glaze effects. His creations are featured in 24 international book publications and are held in 80 national and international art galleries and museums, including the National Gallery of Australia and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Daly has been awarded 36 national and international awards and is the author of three authoritative books on glazes.

With a career spanning over 100 solo exhibitions and participation in more than 250 national and international group exhibitions, Daly’s influence in the world of ceramics is profound. He served as President of Craft Australia from 1992-1995 and received an ARC grant in 1999 to research firing cycles in the development of copper red glazes. 

In 2019, he was shortlisted for the Sidney Myer Fund Australian Ceramic Award at the Shepparton Art Museum.
