Frank Harding (1935-1990) Bio
Frank was born in Victoria (Australia) and educated in Central Victoria Frank worked in the shearing industry and as a police detective and around 1975 embarked on a career as an artist building a studio and gallery in Renmark SA Frank exhibiting throughout Australia, England and the USA His work reflected his interest in history and as a result of his research on the colonial bush-ranging period he was made a Fellow of The Australian Institute of History & Art [1986] In 1988 Harding began a series of aircraft paintings winning the prestigious Royal Australian Heritage Award in 1989 Frank was a self-taught artist illustrator and author.
