Ā Antique J.H. Walter Kola Champagne Kilmore Black Glass Bottle Victoria

An unusual antique black glass bottle associated with J.H. Walter of Kilmore, Victoria, featuring a later-applied Kola Champagne paper label.

The bottle itself displays characteristics consistent with early bottle manufacture, including a pronounced deep glassy pontil mark to the base. Its dark black glass, tall cylindrical form and substantial weight give it strong visual presence and make it an interesting example for collectors of antique Australian bottles, regional Victorian advertising and early soft drink history.

The J.H. Walter Kola Champagne label appears to have been added at a later date and is not represented as an original period label. It shows very little age-related wear compared with the bottle itself. This distinction has been taken into account in both the description and pricing.
