Explore original paintings, works on paper and other artworks by Australian artists represented individually within the TMC Art collection.
This category brings together works by regional, emerging and lesser-documented Australian artists, along with individual works by established artists who do not yet require a dedicated category of their own. Subjects may include Australian landscapes, coastal scenes, cityscapes, portraiture, still life and abstract or modern decorative works.
Every artwork is individually researched, photographed and described, with attention given to the artist, signature, medium, subject, condition, provenance and original labels where available. Where an artist’s documented biography remains incomplete, verified information is clearly separated from attribution, interpretation and developing research.
The collection will continue to evolve as further Australian artworks and artist information become available. Dedicated artist categories may be created when the collection includes enough works to make them useful to visitors.
