Alan Robert Colquhoun Grieve was Australian Artist born in Sydney in 1910.
Alan studied at the Julian Ashton School and the East Sydney Technical College. Also studying under the revered Australian painter Herbert Edward Badham (1899-1961) Alan has notably exhibited at Royal Arts Society in Sydney, he was a Fellow of the Royal Art Society and was also Vice President of the Australian Arts Society.
His work is in private collections the world over, including The Art Gallery of New South Wales, and The Howard Hilton Collection “Quarry Pool” Purchases 1958 by Art Gallery of New South Wales Sydney
