For this particular bowl, I decided to shape it a little differently, which ended up making it one of the most consistent bowls in terms of proportion I\u2019ve made!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This may be a new way that I make these shapes on the wheel head. Think of your hands as the connecting link between your shoulders and arms, creating a triangle if looked from above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I found that, especially when you\u2019re using large amounts of clay, technique is what allows you to throw it a lot easier, so my advice is to try keeping your hands together.
