Progress to shaping the walls and base using your thumbs and a throwing sponge, carefully reaching the desired height.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The shaping process involves handwork to do the majority of the heavy lifting when it comes to creating the shape. With the final finishing left to the ribs for precision. Create a distinctive lip at the top, trim the base with a turning tool, and then transition to the unique step of adding a gum leaf to the vase\u2019s exterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This experimental touch aims to imprint the leaf\u2019s pattern onto the clay, contributing an organic design element. Allow the piece to sit undisturbed for approximately 48 hours, facilitating a solid impression from the leaf. You can either use tree leaves from your garden flowers or even dried nuts! Anything you can press into the clay will work. This is a fun experiment to do to add a naturalistic. Look to your pots, but also use a natural product on a natural product!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After this waiting period, delicately peel off the leaf, revealing the imprinted design. Take the opportunity to trim the base further and add a stylish foot ring, enhancing the vase\u2019s overall aesthetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By all means comment below have any other further
