Given that Jim develops our Glazes, I hadn\u2019t delved into transfers until now, and quite pleased how it turned out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, we start off with our egg dish, and cut out enough of the transfer to go over the egg holder, ensuring there\u2019s enough transfer material for each section of the dish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure the printed part of transfer paper is facing downwards towards dish.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To achieve optimal results, you can use actual eggs within the dish to aid in evenly setting up the pattern, have enough in each section to cover and drape over dish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using a sponge fragment, that is sufficiently dampened but not having it excessively soaked, gently press the sponge into the first egg section. The key is to maintain an evenly damp appearance across the entirety of the transfer. Avoid brushing the sponge; instead, adopt a slow and steady pressing technique.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019re satisfied, carefully peel one corner of the transfer paper from dish to verify that the pattern has been successfully transferred before continuing to peel back paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may need to go over it again with damp sponge until it is damp enough for the transfer to take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the transfer in place, apply a layer of clear glaze over the design.
