Carefully lift the wall and place it onto the base, aligning the edges with the slip and scoring. Gently press and blend the two surfaces together, using your fingers or a tool, ensuring a secure connection on both the inside and outside of the joins. Smooth out any visible seams to create a seamless transition between the wall and base using a rubber kidney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2: Clean Up: After allowing the pot to dry for a few days, grab the pot from under the plastic bag and clean up the base, don\u2019t allow it to fully dry as it will make it harder to clean the edges nicely, so we recommend cleaning up just after the leather hard stage \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3: Drying and Firing: Once it\u2019s all cleaned up, allow the piece to dry gradually and evenly to prevent cracking. Depending on the thickness and size of the clay, drying can take two to four weeks. After the drying process, the piece can be bisque fired in a kiln following the appropriate firing schedule for your clay type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hope you enjoy this video and happy potting!!
