Mixing your glazes with a high speed drill and a paint mixer gets all of the materials back into the glaze solution, ready to dip<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2\/ Dipping:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you\u2019re about to dip your Pottery piece into the glaze, make sure your hand is securely on the greenware, if your hand moves, while you\u2019re dipping, the glaze will automatically stick to the bisque, make sure you have a firm grip when you are dipping and to pull it out swiftly, without moving. Allow the glaze to dry on the greenware before removing your hand<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now we develop and make all our glazes in house at our studio, this allows us to know exactly what is in our glazes, and we know that there is no toxic materials that may get onto our skin, generally most commercial glasses are safe to use without gloves, but please do check with your Pottery supplier before getting glaze on your hand<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3\/ Second Glaze<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applying the second glaze can be done in many different techniques. You can either use a brush, apply with a slip trailer, or even hold a different part of the pot and glaze the rest of it by dipping it again. What I do is use a medium brush with fine tip to fill the reservoirs of bare greenware with the second glaze<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t forget to clean the walls of your bucket to keep down the mess once you are done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any further questions please don\u2019t hesitate to ask!
