Today we\u2019re going to glaze some pots, and I\u2019m going to take you through our process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m just going to remove this lid, and what we find is we have big chunks of glaze, so this is just gelling, and it\u2019s quite normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What we want to do is mix all this back into the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, we will need to use a paint stirrer, and for around 2 minutes high speed mix this all in, when its homogenised its ready to start using the glaze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m also going to use this Zahn cup to record the viscosity, I will keep track of that over time to see how glaze performs and adjust thickness to where glaze performs at its best.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To do this I will start the clock once I come up and the cup starts to run then stop the clock when it has finished, the measurement I recorded is 5.8 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can take our first pot and dip that in also we\u2019re going to pull that latex off, and we\u2019re going to put another colour inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We just start the latex with a needle tool, and then we\u2019ll pull It off a rim first, then remove all the latex from inside vessel, followed by a bit of a clean-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Okay, so that\u2019s all clean in there, and we\u2019ve cleaned up the bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So next in part 2 of this video, we\u2019ll paint latex over the top of this
