Well we have a different video for you today!
This one actually involves no ceramics or pottery at all! I’m making some glaze dollies for our studio as we have been making so many glazes that we need to keep a system for easy access
We could just buy the dollies from the hardware supply store but they rarely have stock and don’t take the weight capacity we need!
While I can’t give a whole lot of tips for this video I will mention a few things
1. Don’t use power tools unless you have experience using them! You can always use a hand saw which is a lot safer
2. Use a drill a little smaller then the screw you will be using, this is especially important when drilling hardwood as it will likely split the wood if you try to drill the screw straight in without putting through a pilot hole first
3. We use dolly wheels that have a capacity of around 45kgs, you can get heavy duty ones from a castor suppler but we find these do good enough!
Once again hope you enjoyed this post and as always Happy Potting…. Or making haha! 😂🥳🥳
We will be back tomorrow with some more tips and ideas ❤️
