First, cut out your clay, then using your sheet of cardboard, place down making sure it slumps in the middle.
Place your clay onto the cardboard mould, and start to roll your texture using a roller leaning to one side.
Clean up edges with your damp sponge, use a heat gun to speed up the drying process.
Then take a ruler and mark out evenly where you are going to make your holes for weaving.
Now, taking your Clay tool make the holes and make sure they are clear of any rough clay bits.
When clay has dried enough to handle, flip over so that you can place some feet at base.
Cut four small rectangles, score and slip and place on base, nice and evenly spaced.
Use your tools to compress the joints and to clean up.
For the final Steps, usual heat gun to make sure that plate can support its weight on the feet, flip over and do the final cleanup with your clay tools.
Allowed to dry thoroughly before bisque firing, then apply your favourite glaze before finally putting your vase through a Glaze firing.
