I had a few attempts at getting the top lip finished and had some fun, the white clay is definitely a different clay to work with, i find its a lot more susceptible to water, I find its a lot easier to dry out and it can be hard to work with once it does, but every clay has a different character and that’s something you’ll find with a lot of different clays.
Btw if you do have air bubbles mid-throw you can use a potters needle to pop the air from the inside of the clay, sometimes it can be too far gone and its better to just cut off the section of clay, but other times you can just pop the air bubble and push the clay from the start of the bubble to the hole you made with the needle
A bigger bubble will inevitably make the unevenness of the clay more apparent, so keep that in mind
As always hope you enjoyed this post and Happy Potting!!! 🥳🥳
We will be back tomorrow with some more tips and ideas ❤️
