8. Create the neck with a strip of clay, placing it on the shoulder and ensuring alignment.
9. Score and slip the connection point before attaching the neck to guarantee a secure join.
10. Use clay tools, a potter’s kidney, and a damp sponge to smooth the entire surface for a flawless appearance.
