Step 1: Start by cutting a piece of clay using a template. This forms the base of your ruffled vase.

Step 2: Place the clay on a mould and shape the feet of the vase. For this demonstration, we used a soft drink bottle to create a plaster mould.
Step 3: Use a custom tool to create beautiful ruffles. Keep a damp sponge handy to smooth out any imperfections as you go.
Step 4: Once the clay is firm enough, carefully remove it from the mould to reveal the initial structure of your ruffled vase.
Step 5: Clean the interior with a damp sponge, ensuring a smooth finish. Tidy up any exterior areas that need attention.
Step 6: Refine the rim of the vase with your finger and a small piece of chamois for an elegant touch.
Step 7: Admire your finished ruffled vase! This project blends artistry and functionality, making it a unique addition to your home decor.
Allow the masterpiece to dry thoroughly before subjecting it to a bisque firing, setting the stage for a glazing process that promises an exquisite final touch.
