Craft a Clay Bowl with Style:
1. Cut a circular clay piece for base, and diverse clay strips for added character.

2. Place the circular clay on a plaster mould, ensuring perfect alignment.
3. Wrap a clay strip around, slightly overlapping, and press to secure.
4. Roll the joined area gently, seamlessly melding the clay.
5. Add more strips, alternating odd and even, preventing concentrated joins.
6. Use a damp sponge for a pristine surface.
7. Carefully remove the dry bowl from the mould to maintain its shape.
8. Add extra clay strip motifs to the front and sides of bowl, to give the glazes somewhere extra to break and run.
8. Unify edges for a consistent appearance, securely pressing them together.
9. Detail the bowl’s interior with a rubber tool for that perfect finish.
10. Enhance with a foot ring if desired, adding that extra touch of elegance.
Remember, handle the clay with care, especially during the delicate process of removing it from the plaster mould.
As you experiment with decorating, there’s a chance of cracks where motifs meet clay, so take precautions, allow the pot to dry slowly under controlled conditions.
