Easy wave pottery for your projects

Few Tips On How I Made This:

The most important thing is to leave a little bit of thickness in the wall so that you can shape the pot after you put the wave decoration on the outside using a pottery comb, when you create a belly in a vase or a bowl, you will automatically make the walls thinner in that area so make sure you leave enough thickness in the walls

Don’t dig the pottery comb in too deeply into the side of the wall as this will make the structure of the walls very weak, but don’t be afraid of it either. Pottery is a lovely medium to work with, and it is very forgiving when it comes to playing around with it.

Once you’ve put the decoration on the outside, you then grab a sponge that is slightly damp and start pushing the shape of the pot from the inside out, starting from the base and working your way up to the top, when you do get to the top of the pot make sure to ease off the pressure, so you do not start to create a wobbly wall or have it collapse.

Leave your pot under a plastic bag for 24 to 48 hours before trimming the base after you’ve trimmed the base place it back under a plastic bag for the next couple weeks and allow to dry as slowly as possible to avoid any cracks.

Once again hope you enjoyed this post and as always Happy Potting!!! 🥳🥳❤️
