1. First pot out of the kiln is a moon vase which is decorated in a sapphire glaze over the top of a rutile green glaze.
2. Next is this pumpkin with its floating blue glaze dripping down the sides, it truly needs to be seen in the flesh to appreciate how beautiful it is.
3. Followed by this petite little green pumpkin.
4. Then have another pumpkin with more floating blue.
5. Plus, this charming little bottle vase.
6. We have a test mug, showcasing another glaze we are testing. The red hues in this piece are truly marvellous, this is a SIC copper red over sapphire we are just trying to get the right balance of application.
7. Highlighting glaze chemistry is this next bottle vase, the sapphire tones continue to dazzle and don’t disappoint in another lovely pot.
8. A coffee mug is next in the same glaze combo with different clay body.
9. We’ve replicated the same glaze combo on this vase, capturing and playing with the dancing light from the sapphire crystal growth.
10. Lastly, a petite pumpkin featuring an oil spot glaze, rounding off our kiln’s fantastic output.
