A striking complete set of six vintage Wembley Ware pedestal sundae or dessert bowls, made in Australia around the 1950s.<\/p>\n
Each bowl features a flower-shaped cup supported on a broad pedestal foot. The set has the classic Harlequin presentation, with individual bowls finished in blue, purple, burgundy, orange, yellow and green.<\/p>\n
The glossy iridescent lustre glazes create attractive variations in colour under changing light. Fine gilt edging around the scalloped rims completes the distinctive mid-century design.<\/p>\n
The bases carry printed Wembley Ware Australian Pottery backstamps.<\/p>\n

Condition<\/strong><\/p>\n The complete set is in remarkable vintage condition. The bowls retain their bright multicoloured lustre finishes and gilt rim detailing. There are a couple of tiny flea bites or minor flea marks around the foot rims.
