This striking vintage Royal Doulton Snowy Owl figurine was produced for Whyte & Mackay in 1984 and bears the name of modeller John G. Tongue on the underside.<\/p>\n

The snowy owl is depicted standing upright upon a textured green rocky base. Its predominantly white plumage is enhanced by finely modelled feather detail, subtle grey and black hand-painted markings, and expressive, amber-coloured eyes.<\/p>\n

The underside carries the Royal Doulton and Whyte & Mackay markings, together with John G. Tongue\u2019s name and the date 1984. These original markings help identify the maker, modeller and period of production.<\/p>\n
